Too Many Home Based Offers-how Do I Choose The Right One For Me?
There are so many choices to pick a home based or online business, so how do I really know what’s good? This is an article about ‘fluff prevention’! The offers out there seem so great, but are they really?
Some of these businesses have been around for years and years with products that everyone else has, making it very difficult to sell since everyone has seen it over and over. So for the ‘average joe’, he or she will have a tough time.
Most of these businesses have a 30-day cycle monthly shipping plan to send you products each and every month. Much of the money they make is from this monthly plan from each distributor. The rest of their money comes from the distributor selling the products.
The percentage pay-out is usually never more than 20%. The complete compensation plan is very hard to reach to the top of. Many of these plans are very difficult, but their top people will convince you otherwise. It is not as easy to do as they say.
It is hard to know how to pick a company on your own since one company will be similar to another, but the hype of the ‘next best latest thing’ about this one company persuaded you to believe it was a better deal than ‘those others’. So how do you discern a good company from the rest of them?
Here is a good start. Your first thing is you know you want to make good money and do so in an ethical way. You want to be honest and feel good about what you are offering. You do not want to harm anyone. You need to know the ‘whole story’ of what the company can offer you.
If the commission or the profit is not at least 75% when you make a sale, don’t bother with it. If it is less than that, you are doing all the work and the company is profiting on your hard work.
Most of these companies, you need 10,000 sign ups or more to make any real money. While your teams do much of the work, it is still very difficult to make a good living. There are people who can do this, but it is not common.
If the company does not offer much training, then turn in the other direction….fast! If they tell you to contact people you know, then run even faster! These kind of companies are only interested in you buying their products -not training you to have a lucrative business.
If you cannot profit in a few sales, then there’s a sign, too. If you the owners hide behind email, aren’t available when you call customer service or do not call you back, then there is another sign. Ask yourself why they do not want to talk to you. Are they afraid of the tough questions?
New companies are out there. Just make sure they are of integrity, solid and have a plan of action. They all have to start somewhere, but be careful as most do not have the experience to know what they are doing. If you are willing to go through their trials, then so be it. But you might have more fun in Las Vegas.
I hope this guideline has helped you. If you follow this advice along with using your own good judgement and that little voice we all have within us. Be patient and ask every question you can think of to make that good choice!
